Meet Rev. Terrance Frederick

Reverend Terrance Frederick, affectionately known as Rev. TJ, is a passionate and prophetic ministry leader devoted to empowering the next generation through faith, service, and spiritual formation. Through his work as a ordained Traveling Deacon, he is the Associate Minister for Education and Worship at Saint Paul CME Church, where he leads dynamic training programs focused on discipleship, worship experiences, intercessory prayer moments, leadership development, and community engagement.

Rev.  Frederick is also the visionary leader and CEO of TLFMinistries, a faith-based initiative committed to revitalizing and restoring youth and young men through faith, prayer, and biblical teaching. His work is centered on creating inclusive spaces for spiritual growth and transformation.

Deeply engaged in the broader life of the Christian Methodist Episcopal Church, he  is an active member of Washington-Virginia District Planning Committee, 7th Episcopal District Young Adult Ministry, and the Beyond the Benediction Initiative,  where he contributes to shaping the future of the denomination through strategic leadership and ministry planning. Reverend Frederick was the recipient of the Emerging Servant Leader award by the Right Reverend James B. Walker, the 56th Bishop of the Christian Methodist Episcopal Church.

With a background in Christian Education and Formation, Rev. Terrance has developed and implemented impactful ministry programs that resonate across generations. His ability to connect both in person and through digital platforms has helped expand the reach of the church and strengthen community relationships.

Currently pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in Christian Studies at Regent University, Reverend Frederick is committed to continuous growth in both theology and ministry practice. He was the recipient of the Innovative Community Builder award by the Regent University Campus Ministries Department.  His compassionate leadership, innovative mindset, and unwavering dedication to the Gospel continue to inspire those he serves.
