Minister Terrance Frederick, a dedicated student at Regent University, embarks on a transformative journey that intertwines his passion for Christian ministry and education. Born into a lineage deeply rooted in faith, Terrance is the grandson of the esteemed Rev. Bruce Wooten and First Lady Cheryl Wooten.
Currently on track to graduate in 2026, Terrance is carving out his path in Christian Ministry, a field that resonates deeply with his family's values and traditions. Beyond the general scope of his studies, he has chosen to specialize in Christian Education, demonstrating a commitment to spreading the gospel and equipping others with the knowledge and tools to live a spiritually enriched life.
In addition to his academic pursuits, Minister Terrance Frederick has taken significant strides in his commitment to serving the community and fostering spiritual growth among young adults. In June of 2023, Terrance achieved a notable milestone by being licensed to preach, marking a profound moment in his spiritual journey and a testament to his dedication to spreading the word of God.
Embracing a leadership role within the faith community, Terrance was elected Vice President for the Young Adult Department in his region. This role reflects his passion for connecting with and guiding his peers on their spiritual journeys. As Vice President, Terrance actively engages in initiatives that promote fellowship, mentorship, and the development of a vibrant community among young adults.
Beyond ministry within the CME Church, Minister Terrance serves as the Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors for WonderLife Ministries, an independent media company started by students at Regent University. WonderLife's mission is to inspire godly wonder in all people through multimedia productions.
Terrance's leadership extends beyond the academic realm, exemplifying his commitment to embodying the principles of Christian ministry in every aspect of his life. As he navigates the responsibilities of this regional role, he brings with him the wisdom instilled by his grandfather, Rev. Bruce Wooten and the unwavering support of his family.
One of Terrence's guiding lights is his favorite scripture, James 1:12, which reads, "Blessed is the one who perseveres under trial because, having stood the test, that person will receive the crown of life that the Lord has promised to those who love him." This scripture encapsulates his resilience, unwavering faith, and dedication to overcoming challenges in his personal and academic life.
As Minister Terrance Frederick continues to walk the halls of Regent University, he carries with him the rich tapestry of his family's faith, the teachings of his grandfather, and a deep-rooted commitment to making a positive impact in the world through Christian ministry and education.
